British Chevening Scholarships
Chevening HSBC Scholarship
The HSBC Chevening Scholarship offers three full scholarships for Indian citizens towards one-year Master Courses at any accredited UK University. 3 scholarships for post graduate Masters Programme in any university in the UK in subjects relating to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Foreign Policy Priority of ‘Building prosperity by increasing exports and investment, opening markets, ensuring access to resources, and promoting sustainable global growth’.
Subjects: Finance, Economics & Environmental Studies.
Each scholarship covers the following:
- Full Programme fees
- Accommodation and living expenses for the duration of the scholarship for a maximum period of 12 months
- Return airfare
- Student Visa (for study visit)
Eligibility Criteria for HSBC Chevening Scholarship
- At least five years of work-experience would be an advantage
- Able to demonstrate leadership in their chosen field or profession (to be assessed from the personal statement provided with the application form and the references
- With an inner drive to make a difference and looking to form networks & strengthen their opportunities during the scholarship and on their return
- Recent graduates may apply but must be able to demonstrate exceptional and outstanding leadership experience through either academic or extracurricular activities
- Outstanding academic ability with a good first degree (a minimum of upper second class) or equivalent from a recognized Indian university
